Toby Attempts to Talk Like a Pirate

Yesterday Sept 19,2013 was international talk like a pirate day (talklikeapirate.com). Toby took a try, but doesn't sound like a pirate! Better luck next year! Arrrr!

Home again!

It's great to be home again! Thank you for your prayers!

I had a few stitches and 4 teeth pulled and I'm doing great!

And, someone asked if I can still bark. Well, yes I can!

Here's a photo of me coming out if the hospital, a photo in the car, and a photo at home!

And guess what? The doc said I can go swimming if I want! Do I want to go swimming? Well, yeah!

Out of surgery! (Guest blog post)

This is Henry guest posting for Toby

The vet just called. Toby is out if surgery and doing well. He had to have 4 teeth pulled and has some stitches. He will be there until Saturday early afternoon. He's still sedated and resting.

Here's a photo I took of him this morning when we took him in. He's getting weighed on the scale. He was 11 pounds (1 pound more than the optimal weight vet told us a few years ago). I guess he'll be doing more exercise like me!

Thanks for your concern and prayers. We always need prayers! God is good!

Off to the Hospital in the Morning

Well, I have a couple of lumps. I went to the vet the other day. He tested me. He called back with test results and says they're not cancer! Hooray for that!

   He says its enlarged lymph nodes from a dental infection. So, tonight i fast. Tomorrow morning I go in to the vet for dental surgery. Hopefully I won't need a tooth pulled.

   I'll be kept overnight since I'm not a puppy anymore. I'll probably be home on Saturday. I'll give you an update soon. Say a prayer for me please!

By the way...You, know I've now got a new "cousin," Matthew. He was just born. He weighed just a few pounds less than me, but I have a feeling he will be bigger than me soon! I hope to meet him soon. Hopefully I can send you a photo!
