Out of surgery! (Guest blog post)

This is Henry guest posting for Toby

The vet just called. Toby is out if surgery and doing well. He had to have 4 teeth pulled and has some stitches. He will be there until Saturday early afternoon. He's still sedated and resting.

Here's a photo I took of him this morning when we took him in. He's getting weighed on the scale. He was 11 pounds (1 pound more than the optimal weight vet told us a few years ago). I guess he'll be doing more exercise like me!

Thanks for your concern and prayers. We always need prayers! God is good!

Off to the Hospital in the Morning

Well, I have a couple of lumps. I went to the vet the other day. He tested me. He called back with test results and says they're not cancer! Hooray for that!

   He says its enlarged lymph nodes from a dental infection. So, tonight i fast. Tomorrow morning I go in to the vet for dental surgery. Hopefully I won't need a tooth pulled.

   I'll be kept overnight since I'm not a puppy anymore. I'll probably be home on Saturday. I'll give you an update soon. Say a prayer for me please!

By the way...You, know I've now got a new "cousin," Matthew. He was just born. He weighed just a few pounds less than me, but I have a feeling he will be bigger than me soon! I hope to meet him soon. Hopefully I can send you a photo!

I'm Trackable!

Well, my Alpha got me a geocaching.com trackable tag, so now I'm "trackable!"

Geocachers who find me can log their find here.
The trackable tag came in a package like this:

Alpha-Henry put it on for me! Here's a photo of it on my harness:

There is a number on the other side of the tag. In order for people to log that they found me, they need to sign in (or sign up - basic membership is free) on geocaching.com and then they can put the number on the back of the tag into the website.
So, check back at this link every now and then and hopefully you'll be able to see who found me!

Welcome Home Party!

When Alpha-Henry and Ruth came home from Jon and Abby's wedding the other day, I just had to throw a welcome home party! I was SO excited!  The "pack" is back together again! At least part of it.

Alpha-Henry has a card that reads "Dear Lord, please help me be the kind of person my dog thinks I am."   He remembered that when he saw how happy I was to see them!

Geocaching!

Today, for our first time, My Alphas and I created a geocaching team (geocaching.com) and went searching. We looked for 5 and found all 5! It was lots if fun! It was sort of like a treasure hunt! I think we'll be doing this more! I'm hoping we can find one with dog treats!
